Itinerary
Arrival at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport where our representative will receive the guests. Proceed towards Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary, which is famous for its dense population of one-horned rhinoceroses. The distance between Guwahati and Pobitora is approximately 50 km and the journey takes around 1.5–2 hours. After arrival check in at the resort and later explore the surrounding rural areas and wetlands of Pobitora. Dinner, Overnight stay near Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary.
After breakfast check out and proceed to Nameri National Park, a beautiful forest reserve located on the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas. The distance between Pobitora and Nameri is approximately 220 km and the journey takes around 5–6 hours. Nameri is known for bird watching, river rafting and forest landscapes. After arrival check in at the eco camp near the park. Dinner, Overnight stay at Nameri area.
After breakfast explore Nameri National Park and enjoy nature walks or optional rafting activities in the Jia Bhoroli River. Later drive to Tezpur, known as the cultural capital of Assam. The distance between Nameri and Tezpur is approximately 35 km and the journey takes around 1 hour. After arrival check in at the Hotel and visit Agnigarh Hill and Mahabhairav Temple. The sightseeing distance will be around 20 km and the journey time will be approximately 2–3 hours. Dinner, Overnight stay at Tezpur.
After breakfast check out and drive to Jorhat, the tea capital of Assam. The distance between Tezpur and Jorhat is approximately 190 km and the journey takes around 5–6 hours. On arrival check in at the Hotel and later visit the famous Tocklai Tea Research Institute, one of the oldest tea research centers in the world. Guests can also explore nearby tea gardens. Dinner, Overnight stay at Jorhat.
After breakfast check out and drive to Sivasagar, the historical capital of the Ahom dynasty. The distance between Jorhat and Sivasagar is approximately 60 km and the journey takes around 1.5 hours. Visit the famous Rang Ghar and Talatal Ghar, which are important historical monuments. Later continue the journey to Dibrugarh. The distance between Sivasagar and Dibrugarh is approximately 80 km and the journey takes around 2 hours. Overnight stay at Dibrugarh.
After breakfast check out and begin the journey back to Guwahati. The distance between Dibrugarh and Guwahati is approximately 440 km and the journey takes around 9–10 hours by road through scenic landscapes and tea plantations of Assam. After arrival check in at the Hotel. Night Dinner, Overnight stay at Guwahati.
After breakfast check out from the Hotel and transfer to Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport. The distance from Guwahati city to the airport is approximately 25 km and the journey takes around 45 minutes. Tour ends with wonderful memories of Assam.
